This is the only one we have ever seen...

An original FACTORY MONO 1960, long guard, stop tail, faded watermelon, Gibson ES-345 TD with unopened PAF's (one of which is a zebra), original brown Lifton case and a load of tags and case candy. What's more it is in near MINT condition and save for a perfect refret is 100% original. Gosh!

This is an extremely rare and pretty desirable, 1960 long guard Gibson ES-345 TDC in just about MINT condition and sporting a desirable watermelon top. It has the desirable factory fitted features of mono wiring, mono Varitone and PAF pickups. This is a mid to late 1960 build 345 having the shallow dish reflector knobs and skinnier neck profile.

Factory fitted with a desirable stop tail, all wiring is original with totally unmolested solder joints. The neck pickup is a zebra and the bridge a double black. Both are long magnet and read in the low 8k's. They sound amazing too and everyone who has popped in to the store who has had a go on this, are pretty much blown away by the sound of this beauty.

All other hardware, finish and electrics are totally original. There has been no touch ups or overspray and as you can see by the many pics in the gallery tab and it is in just about MINT condition. No breaks or repairs either which is just the way we like it.

Neck is a very comfortable slim profile to play and frets have hardly any wear at all. It is set up superbly well with a good low action and like some of the best vintage ES guitars out there, it almost plays itself.

Included is a nice 5 latch 1960 Lifton case with the special dark lining we occasionally see around this period. Also with this guitar is an original 1960 'Custom' engraved truss rod cover in original rolled plastic. We have never seen one of these before either!

A really, really great, rare and unique guitar from Gibson’s golden years that will not disappoint in any way whatsoever. We have a feeling it is probably not going to last that long…
