Bargain priced, slab board, early 1960 Fender Stratocaster anyone?

This is a good refinish, maybe a tad too dark, but it's a nice sunburst finish. Care has been taken to remove the previous finishes and there's some nice wear on the back.

The neck has also been refinished and tinted to look aged. The fretboard is in great shape. Its been refretted and there is plenty of life left in them. The refretting has meant that the fretborad has been sanded a few times with makes the neck feel a little thin. The decal is a replacement.

All hardware is correct and is in good condition considering although the pick guard is a replacement..

Pickups are correct black bottom with formvar windings and all electrics are correct. Pots are dated week 45 of 1959. The middle pickup looks to have been rewound and was out of phase when we got it so this has been corrected.

The guitar comes with a hardshell case.

Beautiful player that is a real joy to handle. As with most of these early 60’s Strats, this guitar sounds totally fantastic. Pickups are wonderfully balanced and has all the range of tones you’d expect with the added easy access to those fated ‘in-between’ sounds.

Come and try it out. We can pretty much guarantee you will not be disappointed.
